How much does it cost to renovate?

HDB & Condominium Units

In general, new BTO homeowners might require less capital outlay compared to Resale homeowners who may need a major overhaul to their homes. EC and Condo owners, on the other hand, may only require minimal carpentry and other renovation works as their homes are usually quite furnished and in move-in condition already.

Landed and Commercial Units

Options range from A&A, Reconditioning to Rebuilding, and these costs may vary significantly depending on your choice. Therefore being well-informed is very important to make the right decision for yourself.

You would have a better idea of the actual cost if you provided us with your requirements and lifestyle so that we can provide a quote based on an itemized basis. This would make it easier for you to know which items contribute to the bulk of the total cost.

Do you provide Formaldehyde-Free Carpentry?

Yes, we do! We offer a variety of plywood options, including formaldehyde-free choices:

  1. Standard Plywood
  2. E1 Plywood (Low Formaldehyde Emission) – Ideal for homes with newborns, elderly individuals, or those sensitive to formaldehyde.
  3. E0 Plywood (Extremely Low Formaldehyde Emission) – Perfect for individuals who are allergic or highly sensitive to formaldehyde.

Please note that there will be an additional cost if you choose E1 or E0 plywood. These options are available upon request, and the additional charges will apply. If no specific request is made, standard plywood will be used for your carpentry.

What if I have engaged your services without choosing E1/E0 plywood and would like to remove the formaldehyde myself?

Yes, this is definitely possible! Here are some recommended and not recommended methods for reducing formaldehyde levels:

Recommended:

  1. Ventilation: Open all the doors and windows of your carpentry, where possible, and ensure proper ventilation. Leave fans running to help circulate the air for at least 3 days.
  2. Formaldehyde Removal Gels & Activated Charcoal: These are effective DIY solutions that can help reduce formaldehyde odors. You can easily find these products on e-commerce platforms like Shopee.
  3. Air Purifiers with Carbon Filters: These will also help improve air quality and reduce formaldehyde.

Not Recommended:

  1. Chemical-Based Formaldehyde Removal Services: While chemical treatments may provide immediate relief, they can react with the sealants used on hinges, screws, and studs, causing rust in just a few days.

If you are particularly sensitive to formaldehyde, please inform our friendly staff so we can provide the appropriate E1 or E0 plywood for your carpentry needs.
