WARRANTY COVERAGE

The Timber Guys will record all warranties based on the order number. If relevant, these warranties are exclusively valid for the original individual owner. The Timber Guys’ warranties are not transferable, which means that the original owner cannot pass on their warranty to another owner.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

1.1 Defects that only include workmanship.

THE TIMBER GUYS shall commence such repairs of only the affected area, within a reasonable period of time provided the Client has removed at Client’s cost all obstructions and equipment installed which would hinder or interfere with repairs being made. THE TIMBER GUYS responsibility and obligation to repair any defects in the job shall become enforceable only if the customer has made full payment for the job.

2. WARRANTY PERIOD

2.1 Every Warranty is valid for (from date of completion): Ten (10) Years Limited Warranty

a) THE TIMBER GUYS PTE. LTD. shall be released from this warranty if the Works are in anyway tampered with either by the Customer’s servants or agents or by any other third person.
b) Difference in colour and visibility of joint line between the rectified area and existing areas should be accepted.
c) Slight Bumps between the rectified area and existing areas should be accepted.
d) The area for rectification works will be marked out and finalized by THE TIMBER GUYS.

3. Warranty DOES NOT Cover:

3.1 Discrepancies or variations between Detailed Drawings/3D Sketch Up/3D/VR and actual works.

3.2 Discrepancies or variations between the laminates chosen from samples and the laminates actually supplied. (It is essential for the client to conduct due diligence by checking with the laminate suppliers on the actual pieces before confirming their selection, especially with wood grained or marble designed laminates.)

3.3 Any third-party materials, including but not limited to hinges, drawer tracks, and laminates.

3.4 Any works not specified in Sales Order.

3.5 Any works where THE TIMBER GUYS did not supply the materials, or labor and or did not perform specified work.

3.6 All natural materials include but are not limited to granite, marble, stone, timber, plywood and veneer.

3.7 All mirrors and glass.

3.8 Unevenness of existing substrate which may affect the final finishing of THE TIMBER GUYS Interior.

3.9 Wood rot, termite damage, or delaminating due moisture exposure &/or deterioration of underlayment.

3.10 Colour-fade and/or ambering due to natural causes such as sunlight, UV-light exposure and improper after-care techniques.

3.11 Bleeding of color caused by rust, knots, or acid rain.

3.12 Scratches, damages, stains &/or wearing out of the interior, intentional or non-intentional, due to daily wear & tear.

3.13 Cracking / Peeling layers of the substrate below and prior to the interiors supplied by THE TIMBER GUYS.

3.14 Cracking / Peeling of interiors due to Structural defects, movement of concrete slab, or settling movements.

3.15 Bubbling / Bulging of interiors due to moisture emission from substrate beneath THE TIMBER GUYS Interior.

3.16 Warping or any damage of carpentry due to exposure to excessive humidity, water, heat, and weight beyond the recommended limit.

3.17 Damage caused whole or in part from fire, cooking oil, flood, Acts of God, negligence of other contractors and workers, or any other causes beyond the control of THE TIMBER GUYS.

3.18 Any form of consequential losses, damage or inconvenience sustained by the Customer arising from or as a result of any of the defects described herein.

3.19 THE TIMBER GUYS reserves the right to revise the Warranty Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice in response to changes to our practices.
